Małgosia Fejkiel grew up in Kraków, Poland in a family with strong artistic traditions, and from early childhood she has been learning about color, texture and form.
She began her career at the SAPU School of Design, followed by internships in Sienna and London, where she trained under Jenne Osterhoudt, head of accessories for Alexander McQueen. There, she discovered her love for shoe design and learned the secrets of shoe production.
Since starting her own company in 2008, Malgosia has been creating shoes that are not only beautiful but also exceptionally comfortable. Her designs are full of whimsy, imagination and surprising combinations of texture and colour. They are handmade by local craftsmen from carefully selected, high quality components from Italy, Great Britain and Poland. She uses natural leathers like suede, patent leather and embossed leather.
The shoes are made for both ready to wear lines as well as individual orders. You can buy them in boutiques across Poland, in Kraków, Warszawa and Katowice, and online.
Because of her focus on both style and comfort, Malgosia’s designs are beloved by brides, which lead to collaborations with established Polish bridal designers Anna Kara and Rina Cossack along with the Outfit Format boutique.
Her designs have been featured in multiple editorials, publications and films, including Brass Teapot with Juno Temple, The Green Knight with Alicia Vikander and the upcoming Expats TV series starring Nicole Kidman.
